Get some of the De-Oxit electrical contact cleaner and figure on spending a good day going from the front of the bike to the back. Ps this is going to be a kinda barebones cafe. i know it sounds like alot to do but i wouldnt ask if i wasnt at a complete loss.
if someone has a picture of the entire harness laid out and labled and a pic of the battery box all hooked up, it will help alot and save me from pulling out my hair. What this dumb*ss needs is someone to hold my hand and walk me through which wires go where. and i know someone will say, "just match the colors, dumb*ss". i can pretty much get the front part of the wiring harness together (they just plug in), but from about the battery box back i have no idea what goes where. i bought a clymer book for the wiring diagram in it, but i can make heads or tails of it, might as well be in spanish.
im good with motors, but am absolute sh*t with electrical, lol. im trying to get the wiring figured out but im stuck. this is my first bike build (im a car guy). I bought my 82 kz1000 m2 as a basket case about 8 months ago and have been slowly fixing it.
